Contra Costa County Alert System

Yesterday marked the first every National Emergency Alert System. Most of you should of received a text alert over your phone around 11:15am PST

If you did not get the alert there may be a possible explanation as simple as you were on a phone call at the time. FEMA is asking for feedback if you feel so inclined to send your comments to FEMA-National-Test@fema.dhs.gov.

If you live in the Contra Costa County area you can also register like I did to today for county wide alerts. If you only have a landline then your number is already registered with the 9-1-1 system, however if you have a cell number than your number is not registered.
